A Commitment to Fairness, Transparency, and Trust

At Bricks & Minifigs - St. Louis Metro East, trust is one of the most important things we build.

Every collection that comes through our doors represents more than just LEGO® bricks. We understand that selling a collection requires trust, and we believe our customers deserve a process that is fair, transparent, and respectful.

Because of that, we continually review and retrain in our buying practices, and now seems like an appropriate time to evaluate. Here are some of the ways we work to ensure every customer receives a fair and positive experience:

We carefully examine every collection.

Our team takes the time to identify and evaluate the items in each collection to the best of our ability. We can’t rebuild sets or search for missing parts, but we do want to understand what is in a collection before making an offer.

We verify our valuations.

While we use software to research and calculate values, we don't simply accept numbers at face value. We regularly double-check valuations to make sure they are accurate and make sense based on the collection in front of us.

We believe in transparency.

We're happy to explain how we arrived at an offer, and we're happy to explain general principles like the difference between new and used, or the difference minifig make to a set. We want customers to understand not only the offer itself, but also the factors that go into determining it.

We never pressure anyone to sell.

We don't believe in convincing someone to part with a collection. We would much rather a customer decide to keep their items than feel rushed into a decision. Sorry, Temptations, we are too proud to beg for products.

We keep detailed records.

We maintain records of completed purchases and even collections that don't result in a sale. Good documentation helps us stay organized, accountable, and consistent in how we serve our customers, and if there’s ever a question about our inventory, we can look back right away.

We try to do right by our customers.

Occasionally, we discover non-LEGO valuables in a collection that may have sentimental or financial value. When that happens, we reach out because we believe doing the right thing matters.

We work hard to make fair offers.

As a small business, we have to balance paying strong prices with maintaining a healthy and sustainable business. Our goal is always to make offers that are fair and competitive, and one of our favorite moments of the day is when we're able to surprise someone with an offer that's better than they expected.

At the end of the day, our business isn't just about buying and selling LEGO products. It's about relationships, trust, and being a place where our community feels respected and valued.

Thank you for trusting us with your collections, your stories, and your support. We don't take that trust for granted, and we'll continue working every day to earn it.
