We buy LEGO! Here are some tips, tricks, and rules to help you get the best value for your trade or sale:

Tips & Tricks:

• Make sure your sets are as complete as possible.  If a set has Minifigs, keep the Minifigs with it and keep them assembled. If you have the instructions, keep those with the set, too. The more we can see it’s complete, the more we can offer. 
• The cleaner the LEGO, the higher the offer. If our staff has to clean the LEGO, its value decreases.
• We understand – not everyone has the time to put sets back together. We don’t, either! If you bring in a box or bag of pieces, it will be purchased as bulk. We can’t take a customer’s word that an unbuilt set is complete. If it isn’t built, it’s bulk.
• Factors that affect set pricing include: cleanliness (dust, sticky stuff); substitutions, damage, and missing pieces; missing or damaged Minifigs; current inventory; and demand for particular sets or themes in our store.
• Factors that affect bulk pricing include: cleanliness (pet hair, sticky stuff); non-LEGO content (other toys, other building block brands); current inventory; and general volume. 
• Factors that affect Minifig pricing include: cleanliness; damage; current inventory; and demand for particular Minifigs or themes in our store.
• Just selling Minifigs? We love LEGO Minifigs! Make sure your Minifigs are as complete as possible and assembled. Unassembled Minifigs will be purchased as generic Minifigs. Our staff will not reassemble your Minifig collection for you during a buy appointment.
• We reserve the right to choose what we wish to consider for purchase. Non-traditional LEGO items such as posters, games, storage, or displays will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Rules:

• We only purchase authentic LEGO products.
• We will not purchase New-in-Box that is still in production (active on LEGO.com).
• Our price is quoted at the time of in-person evaluation. If you leave with your LEGO and come back later, we will repeat the whole evaluation process. Our prices are based on current market value, which can fluctuate daily.
• We do not haggle. We do our best to give the best market pricing we can. You are under no pressure to accept our offer.
• We do not buy empty boxes; stand-alone technological and electrical components; instruction manuals without the sets; used plush toys, clothing, or other textile/fabric items.
• We cannot process less than one gallon of bulk. We may turn away any bulk purchase of which less than half is authentic LEGO brand pieces.
• Just like you are under no obligation to purchase items from us, we are under no obligation to purchase items from you. We reserve the right to turn down merchandise.
• All sellers must be 18 or over. A valid photo ID is required at the time of sale or trade.
• No matter how great a potential seller’s LEGO collection is, we do not make exceptions to our rules, and we do not tolerate aggression against our employees when they refuse to violate our policies. 

Schedule an Appointment:

• Schedule an appointment online so we can better serve you and give the proper time to evaluate your LEGO collection.
• Expect to spend 5-10 minutes at the buy counter per set, Minifig, and/or bulk container you are selling. Having sets and Minifigs assembled, and having instructions with the sets, will help expedite the identification and evaluation processes. We will not spend time cleaning LEGO, or reassembling LEGO figs and sets, that do not belong to us. 
• Walk-ins may be accepted if an appointment is cancelled, or if a space is open, but walk-ins are not guaranteed. If walk-ins are accepted, they will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. We will not tolerate aggression toward staff if wait times are long.
