It was released at the LEGO flagship Beijing WangFuJing store (LEGO Store Beijing) for the 1 Year Anniversary with the purchase of items more than ¥1088. It came packaged in a pressure-sealed plastic bag inserted behind the building instructions into a front opened cardboard box. It was limited to a distribution of 5000 sets.
Note: This is a Bricks and Minifigs Retired set. - Retired sets are still New-in-Box (NIB), sealed, never opened and officially retired by LEGO. These sets can be rare as they are no longer in production by LEGO.
