LEGO 21342 Insects is an Ideas set released in 2023, containing 1111 pieces. It builds three display models: a Blue morpho butterfly (Morpho peleides) with a buildable honeybee and flower, a Hercules beetle (Dynastes hercules) with attachable wings and the male’s characteristic horns, and a Chinese mantis (Tenodera sinensis) that is posable and displayed with a 7-spotted ladybug. The set presents each species on its own habitat-style base with botanical details. It is LEGO Ideas No. 50 and is based on the LEGO Ideas project by fan designer José María (hachiroku24).
